GenuTrain® OA with its innovative unloading system relieves the lateral or medial compartment of the knee based on the 3-point principle. The unloading relief is easily adjustable with the Boa Fit-System. A low-profile and lightweight design, combined with 3D AirKnit compression support, allows for unparalleled relief, joint control and all-day wearing comfort.

How to measure
Whilst at 30 degrees of flexion (your knee slightly over your toe) measure 17cm above the centre of the kneecap and 15 cm below the centre of the knee cap.

I've been using one of these for over a year now. In combination with other treatment, this has taken me from only being able to walk 400m with significant pain to being able to hike 25-30km in the mountains with over 2000m elevation gain (I used to be a mountain and sky runner...can't run nowadays). I was looking at a knee replacement, but felt I was too young at the moment. My goal is to stave off a knee replacement for another 3-5 years, if I can remain functional.

What happens if I order the wrong size?
Send it back within 30 days for a full refund, or email orders@jointoperations.co.uk and we'll swap it for the right size.
Measuring before you order is the quickest route - the size finder on this page turns two tape-measure numbers into a size in about twenty seconds.
Can I wear it under clothing?
Yes. The knit is low-profile and designed to sit under trousers, leggings or a tracksuit without bunching. Most people wear it all day without anyone noticing.
How do I wash it?
Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle with any fasteners closed. No fabric softener and no tumble drying - dry it flat, away from direct heat.
Washing it regularly actually helps: it lifts the body oils out of the knit and the compression holds its shape for longer.
How long should I wear it for?
Most people wear a support during activity and take it off to sleep. If a clinician recommended it to you, follow their guidance - they'll have a plan for your particular situation.
If you've bought it yourself for ongoing pain and you're not sure, it's worth getting the underlying problem looked at rather than relying on the support alone.
When will it arrive?
