Product details

Bauerfeind VenoTrain® micro AG Compression Stockings, Thigh-High provide controlled, gradient compression with maximum pressure at the ankles, decreasing gradually up the leg. Unique material with 50% premium microfiber translates into unparalleled wearing comfort thanks to a very soft and gentle touch to the skin. The comfortable, elastic knit stimulates blood circulation, relieves legs, and has a classic, stylish look. Comfort sole has specific pressure-relief zones along the heel and the ball of the foot. Elastic expansion zones in the middle of the sole ensure more stability in this area. Smooth and elastic knitted fabric stimulates circulation and relieves stress on the veins in cases of mild vein problems, including spider veins and varicose veins.

For me—since I suffer from severe leg pain when I spend a lot of time standing—these compression socks are excellent.

Thanks for your order and your review, Simona. We're so pleased the VenoTrain micro stockings are taking the edge off the leg pain after long spells on your feet. Hope they keep your days a bit easier.

The stockings are a great help--I have been wearing VenoTrain stockings for years. MY UK doctor's practice won't order them any more (perhaps because they are expensive).

Thank you so much for your kind words! We're glad to hear that the stockings continue to help you. If you need any assistance or further support, feel free to reach out.

Kind regards,
The Bauerfeind Team

Common questions

The things people ask us most before ordering.

What happens if I order the wrong size?

For hygiene reasons, VenoTrain products cannot be returned or exchanged, so it is worth double-checking your measurements before you order. Send your measurements to our team or email orders@jointoperations.co.uk and we will confirm the right size before you buy.

Can I wear it under clothing?

Yes. The knit is low-profile and designed to sit under trousers, leggings or a tracksuit without bunching. Most people wear it all day without anyone noticing.

How do I wash it?

Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle with any fasteners closed. No fabric softener and no tumble drying - dry it flat, away from direct heat.

Washing it regularly actually helps: it lifts the body oils out of the knit and the compression holds its shape for longer.

How long should I wear it for?

Most people wear a support during activity and take it off to sleep. If a clinician recommended it to you, follow their guidance - they'll have a plan for your particular situation.

If you've bought it yourself for ongoing pain and you're not sure, it's worth getting the underlying problem looked at rather than relying on the support alone.

When will it arrive?

Standard delivery takes 3-4 working days and is free on orders over £95. Order before 12:30pm Monday to Thursday for next-day delivery.

Orders placed before 12:30pm on a working day are dispatched the same day; after the cut-off, or at the weekend, they go out on the next working day.

Can I claim it back on insurance or through work?

Some private health policies and occupational health schemes cover orthopaedic supports when they've been recommended by a clinician. We can send an itemised VAT invoice for your claim - just email us with your order number.

Can I buy wholesale for my clinic or shop?

Yes. We're the UK distributor for Bauerfeind, and we supply retailers, clinics, pharmacies and physiotherapy practices directly. Send us a trade enquiry and we'll come back with pricing and account terms.
